| Résumé(s): | Femme d'une trentaine d'années, née en Ouzbékistan, mais qui a grandi à Moscou. À l'âge de 11 ans environ, elle a déménagé aux États-Unis, où elle est allée à l'école à New York. Elle a la nationalité américaine. Elle est venue en France pour la première fois à l'âge de 19 ans dans le cadre d'un programme de son université et a toujours souhaité rester plus longtemps que ce qu'elle a fait à l'époque. Elle a été émerveillée par les endroits qu'elle a visités, la culture, la littérature et la nourriture. Elle a appris la langue française très rapidement et facilement. Cependant, elle est retournée aux États- Unis. Elle a obtenu son diplôme et a commencé à travailler en Israël dans une organisation. Elle a rencontré son mari, qui est français, à Tel Aviv. Ils ont décidé de s'installer en France et n'étaient jamais allés à Pau auparavant. Ils sont venus dans la ville immédiatement après le confinement (2020), principalement pour le travail de son mari. Ils ont deux jeunes enfants. Elle parle des différences culturelles, de la vie en tant qu'étrangère à Pau et de la façon dont elle a obtenu la nationalité française. Female in her thirties, originally born in Uzbekistan, but who grew up in Moscow. When she was about 11 years old, she moved to the United States, where she went to school in New York. She has US citizenship. She came to France at the age of 19 for the first time on a program with her university and always wished she could have stayed longer than the time she did, then. She was amazed by the places she visited, the culture, the literature, and the food. She learnt French very quickly and easily. However, she returned to the USA. She graduated and started working in Israel with an organization. She met her husband, who is French in Tel Aviv. They decided to move to France, and had never been to Pau before. They came to the city immediately after lockdown (2020), primarily for the job of her husband. They have two young children. She speaks of cultural differences, living as a foreigner in Pau, and how she obtained French citizenship. |
