Description(s):
This recording narrates how a young man who studied Tibetan Buddhism in Lhasa came back empty-handed, without a gift for his mother ; on the way, he plucked a tooth from a dead horse and told his mother it was a god’s tooth. His mother marvelled at this extraordinary gift and prayed three times a day to the tooth. Her faith was so intense that the tooth, originally a fake relic, eventually started to blaze and sparkle.
