Description(s):
This is a traditional story about a wealthy man with two lazy and incompetent sons. By staging a funeral for his wife, and reviving her with a magic stick, he tricks the two brothers into believing that the stick has magic powers. The two brothers go to another village and interupt a funeral by trying ressurect the deceased. They are unsuccessful and beaten by the people of that village. Upon returning to their father, they are told that the stick only works on odd numbered days and not even numbered days. They try to earn money performing ressurections again but are again beaten and chased out of the village. This story speaks against the short-sightedness of greed.
