The collection comprises interviews in Bulgarian which were carried out in Bulgaria in July 2022 as part of the "Atlas of the Balkan Linguistic Area" (ABLA) project, supported by the French National Research Agency (ANR), whose goal is to study language contacts among spoken Balkan languages. The interviews contain information about life in the village or in the city, family history, traditions, cultural practices, lifestyle.
