Description(s):
A narrative about how a trader taught his son to manage trade wisely. To his son’s surprise, the father asked him to collect stories along the way, as gifts to the father, instead of buying presents. The father’s message was that traders must avoid being left without sufficient stocks of food when they come back, and therefore should not spend their money hastily on pretty objects on sale at distant places.
