History of the Bahing/Rumdali Rai in Deusimbu (Rangadip). The Rai defeat the Bono canibals ("ban jhankris") and found the village of Ramjatar, ancestral home of the Bahing/Rumdali Rai. A descendant of Rung, the clan-ancestor, settles in Deusimbu (Rangadip), driving out the Bahun founders. A Bahun widow, in committing sati, lays a curse on the village: the inhabitants will forever be short of food.
